Choosing the right textile fabrics for hotel bedding sets

China professional Hotel Bedding supplier –Foshan Yiroufang Textile Co.,LTD, today we will introduce the Structure of textile fabrics.

Plain fabric: The warp and weft yarns are interlaced in every two yarns. The interlaced points are arranged densely. So the structure of plain fabric is dense, firm but feels hard.

Twill fabric: It refers to the fabric with twill weave, with obvious diagonal lines. Its texture, luster and elasticity are good.

Satin fabric: The warp or weft yarns in satin fabric are interlaced to form some independent and mutually uncorrelated warp or weft structure points. The cloth is almost covered by warp or weft yarns. There seems to be oblique lines, but not significant as twill. And the number of joints of warp and weft yarns is fewer. It has smooth and shining appearance. The texture is soft.

Plain fabric:
The fabric with plain weave structure (The warp and weft yarns are interlaced in every two yarns) is called plain fabric.
Features: Many interlaced joints, firm texture, tidy surface, and the appearances of the front and the back are the same. The density of this fabric structure can not be too high, and it is relatively light, wearable, and breathable.

Twill fabric
The warp and weft yarns of satin fabrics are interwoven at least in every four yarns, so the density of this structure is higher and the fabric is thicker. But the cost of fabric in this structure is higher than similar twill products. The fabric with satin weave structure is called satin fabric.
Features:
1. There is difference in front and back;
2. In a complete structure, this kind of fabric has the least interlaced joints, and the longest floating threads. And the surface of the fabric is almost entirely composed of floating warp or weft threads;
3. Soft, smooth and glossy.

Twill fabric:
The warp or weft yarns are interwoven at least in every three yarns. The structure of fabric is changed with the addition of warp and weft joints. This kind of fabrics is collectively referred to as twill fabric.
Features: 1. There is difference in front and back;
2.In a complete structure, this kind of fabric has less interlaced joints, and the longer floating threads.;
3. Soft texture;
4. With high density, it feels thick;
5. The cost of fabric in this structure is higher than similar plain products.
The fabric with plain weave structure is called plain fabric.
Features: Many interlaced joints, firm texture, tidy surface, and the appearances of the front and the back are the same. The density of this fabric structure can not be too high, and it is relatively light, wearable, and breathable.

Twill fabric: In a complete structure, at least two warp yarns and two weft yarns are interwoven. There is only one structure point on each warp or weft yarn. The successive points on fabric surface combine twill lines. The twill structure is the appearance effect of the twill on the surface of fabric. The interwoven times of warp and weft yarns are less than that of plain fabric. The holes between warp and weft yarns are small, then yarns can be arranged densely, and the fabric is thick. So the twill fabric has obvious diagonal lines compared to plain fabric. This kind of fabric is soft, stereo, glossy and elastic. However, due to the longer floating threads of twill fabric, its wear resistance and fastness are not as good as plain fabrics under the same thickness and density.

What are the differences between fabrics?

These are mainly Fabric technology: plain weave, twill, jacquard weave, sateen.
1. Plain fabric.
Definition:
The plain fabric is made of plain weave (warp and weft are woven once every other yarn).
Characteristics of the fabric:
It has a lot of intersection points, tight texture, a smooth surface, and the same appearance
on the front and back, with a thin layer of fabric that is less dense and more breathable.
High-end embroidered fabrics are usually plain fabrics.
2. Twill fabric.
Definition:
The warp and weft are woven at least once between two yarns, and the fabric structure is
changed by adding the warp and weft points, which are collectively referred to as twill fabric.
Characteristics of the fabric:
It has two different sides, less intersection points in a full weave circulation, with a long, thin,
soft-edged texture, a thicker body, and a stronger three-dimensional sense. There are 40,60
of the count.
3. Jacquard fabric.
Definition:
When fabrics are woven with warp and weft, they form a flower design with delicate yarn,
and extremely high demand for the raw material. Its weaving and dyeing process of
monochrome jacquard and multi-color jacquard is different, monochrome jacquard for the
jacquard dyeing fabric – the jacquard fabric is firstly knitted and dyed, then the fabric is made
of solid color; Multi-color jacquard for the yarn-dyed jacquard fabric – firstly the yarn is
dyed and then made by jacquard weaving, and finally finished, so yarn-dyed jacquard fabric
has more than two colors, rich colors, not significant monotonous, stronger three-dimensional
sense, higher grade.
4.Sateen fabric.
Definition:
Warp and weft are interwoven at least once every three yarns, so the sateen weave makes
the fabric denser and thicker. Sateen fabric products are more expensive than plain weave
and twill weave products. Fabrics made of sateen weave are collectively referred to as
sateen weave.
Sateen fabric has two different sides, the least intersection points in a full weave circulation,
with a long texture. The fabric surface is almost entirely composed of warp or weft floating lines,
satin fabric texture soft. The cloth is smooth, delicate and lustrous.
